Well, that was waaaay too much family togetherness. No alone time from 11pm on Thursday until 6am this morning. But the money for the flight was worth it to avoid an extra 28 hours of family togetherness in the confined space of a car. With 3 in the back seat. Super cozy. They left for home 2 hours before I got up this morning, and they're still on the road. And I've been home for quite some time now. So that worked out just fine for me.... The wedding, it was, let's say, "extravagant." To put it mildly. I don't see why anyone wants to spend that much money on a party. I know plenty of people do, but, I, however, can live a fulfilled life without a chocolate fountain (or two, as the case may be) at my wedding.... Glad it's over in any case. Here's to wishing that there may be no out of town weddings for a long time.
