Apparently, none of the people who have lived in this house in the past 160 years have been a fan of ventilation. (A fan of ventilation, hahahaha. I crack myself up). Let's take a quick count, shall we? On the first floor, I have no windows that open. Of my 4 doors, 2 have screen doors. Upstairs, I have 2 windows that open. Out of 9. And one of these is not the bathroom, so each morning, I create my own little sauna. How is this OK? Isn't there some sort of law requiring air circulation or something? Or at the very least, windows that open in case of fire?
