Open for Interpretation

I know that TJ doesn't believe in this crap, but dreams must mean something, right? Your subconscious and all that.... I've had the same creepy dream 3 nights in a row now... And it's just bizarre. So in it, I live in L.A. I seem to have grown up there. I have some job in some hoity-toity office. Where my mother also works. So we go to leave work one day, and we have to take the train home. Because my dad has ordered all the freeways in LA closed for resurfacing. So there's no other way home. The train, though, is creepy. We have to catch the train in an industrial train yard with tons of tracks, and it's a graveyard of old, rusting train cars. And our train is dark and old and so loud and cold, and all the lighting is purpleish-black so everything has an eery deep glow. And as we pull out of the train yard, we speed up from a crawl until it's going so so so fast, careening down the tracks. The windows are painted over in black, but someone has scratched the paint a little so that I can see out just a bit onto a really desolate ghost-town dotted with just occassional yellow street lights. And there's a hole in the floor by my feet so I can see the tracks below, and it's raining and I can hear and feel wind. The conductors are all panicking about something and running past me, up and down the aisle, from one car to another, but I don't know what's wrong. If I look behind me though, there are no other cars, the train just ends in a big dark gaping hole. And I want to know what's going on, but everyone on the train is like a zombie, just reading their newspapers like this is normal. So I'm getting very frantic... And my alarm goes off. That was on Monday morning. The alarm went off, so the dream stopped with no resolution. And Monday and Tuesday nights, I've had the same dream, but I've woken up at that same point again. So still no resolution. It's a really vivid dream. But what does this mean? How does it end? ...And why does my dad have the power to close all the freeways in an entire city?
