It Pays to Discover
Amount spent on gas Aug 2004: $101.34 Amount spent on gas Aug 2005: $308.03 I know I said I don't care, I can't do anything about it, etc, etc. But seriously. Gas was nearly half of my credit card statement for August. And I didn't even drive to Cincy or anything. But at least Discover had 5% Cash Back bonus on gas through August. That gets me like 15 bucks back. I can go buy myself 4.5 gallons of gas with that.
