0900 Hours
My allergies have kicked in, so I had trouble falling asleep last night. I finally drifted off a little after midnight. It was pretty restless sleep though. At one point I looked at the clock, it was 2141. Huh? How did that turn into military time? So in my sleepy state, I do the math. It's 9:41. What? Wait. I didn't fall asleep till after midnight. Have I been sleeping for like 24 hours? I pick up the clock and start fiddling with it. I didn't even know the damn thing had the capability of doing military time. How did this happen? As I'm poking around with it, I catch a glimpse of the time again. Now it's 2:44. What the hell is going on? I'm too tired for the clock to be playing mind games with me. Then it dawns on me. I'm blind. That first 1 in 2141 was really a colon. Oy. I think I need one of those clocks for old people with the 3 inch tall numbers. Next come the dentures.
