Hello Officer

I'm back. Long drive. Felt particularly long. A cop following you for 23 miles will do that. 23 miles. I was putzing along Rt 127 in Ohio at about 65 mph. About 10 over, but nothing ridiculous. I come over a hill, and there's a cop coming the other direction. He wasn't sitting and waiting for speeders, he was just driving along. But I come over the hill, he sees me and pulls a quick u-turn. I, of course, slow down. I'm no fool. So he starts following me. I have cruise control. I use it. 54 miles per hour. One mile, he's still there... Two miles, he's still there... Three miles.... You get the idea. Then we go through Van Wert, speed limit down to 45, down to 35, down to 25 mph. I'm sure he's waiting for me to screw up. It's been like 10 miles by this point... Then I get on US-30. He follows me... He follows me on US-30... all the way to the Indiana border. I cross the state line into Indiana and he guns it right past me and turns around at the first pull off. What? Do the Ohio State Troopers have nothing else to do? Like give people actual tickets or something? I'm sure after about 2 or 3 miles, he had to just be screwing with me. Fun?

In other cop-related news... The Michigan State Police had pulled over 7 separate cars in the span of about a mile and a half on I-69. I didn't even know the Michigan State Police knew how to pull people over. I mean, how fast were all these people going? I thought you had to go at least 85 to be pulled over in MI. Maybe today was new officer practice or something. Or maybe just more Sunday fun...

In non-cop related news... It was a good weekend........ Lazed around with TJ. Long distance is sucky. I don't get to sleep in the nook......... Went shopping. It was glorious. The Battle Creek Mall just isn't doing it for me. So my credit card got a work out (and I was so good last month... Not this month apparently)......... I kicked 7 boys' asses in bowling. I've only bowled over 100 once in my life (a big 102). Yet somehow I managed to pull off a 129 on Saturday. That'll probably never be equalled, so I should just give up now.......... Saw Million Dollar Baby. It's definitely not just the girl version of Rocky. I'm not sure how I feel about it. It was fairly depressing........ It was like 65 degrees and sunny in Cincinnati this weekend. So so nice. There's still snow on the ground here. I hate Cincy winters, I hate Cincy summers. But it was nice that spring came just a little bit earlier and fall lasted just a little bit longer.........

Alright, I need to unpack stuffs. It'll be nice to have my own bed for a couple nights. I've only slept in it one night of the past 7. Now I get 4 nights in it, before I'm out of it again for another 3. Chicago this time. I'm quite the world traveller. Or, not world... But you know what I mean.
